AC Milan fans could yet get a ‘nice surprise’ from the end of the transfer window, if one supporter’s tweet regarding Geoffrey Moncada’s words is correct.
Multiple sources are reporting that the aim is to sign another centre-forward to make sure that Olivier Giroud – who will turn 37 years old at the end of September – will not have to work overtime each week like last season.
Noah Okafor and Lorenzo Colombo are the two current alternatives. The former is more of a second striker or a winger and scored seven league goals last season, while the latter is expected to leave on loan.
A number of different profiles continue to be linked such as Armando Broja of Chelsea, Hugo Ekitike of Paris Saint-Germain, Sardar Azmoun of Bayer Leverkusen and some other more wild card names.
According to one fan on Twitter, he asked: “Geoffrey.. a new striker arrives.” Moncada apparently replied: “Ehh you’ll see a nice surprise.”
