Huddersfield Town Are Leading Charlton Athletic And Birmingham City  On Another Experience Player Report claims

Birmingham City,Huddersfield Town  and Charlton Athletic are all showing interest in free agent defender Tennai Watson, a report from Football League World has claimed.
Watson, 26, has been a free agent since the end of the season. He saw his MK Dons contract run out at the end of June and since then, he’s been on the hunt for a new club.

The former Coventry City and Reading man has spent much of his career playing his trade in League One but he has Championship experience to his name too, playing four times in the division.

Now, as per a report from Football League World, Watson is wanted in both the second and third tiers.

They report that Birmingham City, Huddersfield Town and Charlton Athletic are all showing an interest in the defender. Talks have been held with the Blues and the Terriers over a possible move while the Addicks continue to monitor his situation.

A shrewd signing?

Of the three sides claimed to be interested, Watson would probably be in with the best chance of regular minutes at Charlton Athletic. He’s got a good amount of League One experience under his belt but a starting role in the Championship would be harder to come by.

Nevertheless, he could prove to be a clever signing for either Birmingham City or Huddersfield Town too. He’d add depth on the right-hand side, offering himself as a full-back or wing-back.

As a free agent, Watson is a low-risk signing for all three of the reportedly interested sides and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s snapped up sooner rather than later as the new season nears. Time will tell just where he ends up though as he looks for pastures new after leaving MK Dons.
