Done Deal: AC Milan Officially Announced Another Signing of 24 years old as Tonali replacement
A big signing for Milan to reinforce the midfield since the departure of Tonali.
AC Milan have officially announced on their website the signing of Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders from AZ Alkmaar on a permanent deal. The midfielder has signed a contract until the summer of 2028.
Reijnders came up in the FC Twente youth system before moving to PEC Zwolle to start his career before moving to the AZ Alkmaar U21 team. He spent a few months on loan at RKC Waalwijk before becoming a fixture in the Alkmaar first team. He has made 128 appearances for Alkmaar scoring 13 goals and providing 15 assists. He made the bulk of these appearances in the previous three seasons.
The midfielder received his first senior national call up in May 2023 but is yet to make his international debut. He has previously played for the Netherlands at the U20 level.
As per the reports, the figure being thrown around is 20 million euros plus bonuses.
Reijnders will wear the number 14 shirt.
