NEWCASTLE UNITED LEADING ASTON VILLA TO PAY £43M FOR ‘EXCITING’ PLAYER WHO CAN BE ALEXANDER ISAK REPLACEMENT

Unai Emery’s Aston Villa are reportedly determined to sign Moussa Diaby, a player Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are also keen on.

According to 90min, Aston Villa have made a second bid for Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby, who is on the radar of Newcastle United as well.

Villa’s opening bid for Diaby was £30 million.

German club Bayer rejected it.

The Villans have now made a new offer of £43 million for the winger.

90min has reported that Bayer want £51 million in transfer fees for Diaby.

The France international winger has reportedly told his Bundesliga club that he wants to leave and is keen on a move to the Premier League.

Saudi Pro League Al Nassr are also interested in Diaby, according to the report.

Earlier this month, Bild reported interest from Newcastle in Diaby.

Football Transfers also claimed this month that the Magpies are keen on the France international.

Newcastle United should bid for Aston Villa target Moussa Diaby
In our opinion, if Newcastle United are determined to sign Moussa Diaby, then they should make a bid of their own and try to beat Aston Villa to the signing of the winger.

The 24-year-old – who is “exciting” and “quick and tricky”, according to European football expert Kevin Hatchard – reportedly wants to move to the Premier League.

Newcastle are a big and established club in the Premier League and will play in the UEFA Champions League next season.

Under owners, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), and manager Eddie Howe, Newcastle are going places.

A move to Newcastle could be very appealing to Diaby.

The 24-year-old made 33 appearances in the Bundesliga for Bayer last season.

Diaby scored nine goals and gave eight assists in those games.

The France international winger made seven starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Europa League last season.

The 24-year-old scored three goals and provided one assist in those matches
