Charlton Athletic Poised To Confirm Arrival Of Ipswich Town Man

Former Barnsley youth man Camara is surplus to requirements at Championship side Ipswich Town and is heading away from Portman Road.

Now the midfielder is heading away from Ipswich and dropping back down the League One.

Camara is set to join Charlton and the switch is expected to be announced later today.

The 26-year-old will hand Addicks boss Dean Holden another option as he bids to put together a promotion push in the new season.

Camara has significant League One experience, having featured heavily for Plymouth in the 2020/21 and 2021/22 campaigns.

He will be looking to hit the ground running at Charlton and shine on his season-long loan deal.
